I watch a lot of foreign films on WI and they all have subtitles. Also they have some great BBC miniseries available, “Our Mutual Friend” and “North and South” are a couple I’ve watched recently that were quite good and they have all the episodes of “Fawlty Towers”, lots of docs. They have over 12,000 movies on WI now and they’re addiing more all the time.

[hijack] My recommendation? Support your local indie video store. [/hijack]

> One question, though. I haven’t tried to watch a foreign language film this way. Is it in its native tongue with English subtitles? (I don’t watch foreign films with translated voice acting; I want the native language and subtitles).

It’s in Spanish with English subtitles, not dubbed. The subtitles aren’t as good as they are in Pan’s Labyrinth or The Devil’s Backbone - they didn’t bother to translate some of the dialogue (not even paraphrasing it!), so I had to fill in the blanks for the person I was watching it with.
