# Great fireworks viewpoint!

Last night we went to a friends apartment in a highrise along the lake. After dark we went up to the roof and could see fireworks going off aaaall over the city and suburbs. Amazing. In my mind I kept hearing Edward R. Murrow saying “I’m reporting from London where bombs are falling throughout the city as I speak.” Toward the end of the **official** displays sirens started sounding so we assumed the surgical fun was about to begin for those hosting “unofficial” displays.

So now I’m thinking that next year we should get a hotel room on an upper floor where we can have a party and watch in surround-view.
