# Great FREE Kobo eReader reads?

There’s already a current [Lets Share Free E-book Recommendations!](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=644445) thread.

Some of the links in that thread are to Kindle editions on Amazon, but most of the free books that are available there can also be found elsewhere, like [http://www.gutenberg.org/](http://www.gutenberg.org/) or [http://manybooks.net/](http://manybooks.net/). Just make sure you download the correct version for your e-reader; I _think_ the Kobo uses the ePub format, but I’m willing to be corrected.
