Congrats to Daddy and Mommy Chastain, and kisses to New Baby Kendall. As someone who has had a c-section, make sure Mom gets enought rest, but also make sure she gets up and walks around. She’ll be sorry if she doesn’t. Make sure she just takes it one day at a time. It’s major surgery - don’t forget that. She may feel like she’s been run over by a Mack truck right now, but she’ll feel a little bit better each day. Chocolate helps - hint, hint, Dad. 😉 ---

Congrats! How long was the Mrs. in labor for? Friday into Tuesday? I feel her pain! I had an induction that failed and ended up with a section with baby one and an emergency section with baby 2. Tell the Mrs. not to be afraid to take those pain meds! Also she’s going to feel like a truck hit her for a while. Every day will feel better but this is major surgery. I’m seconding everything **Bibliocat** said! She also can’t lift anything other than the baby for six weeks! Watch for coughs - they suck with abdominal surgery and mine turned to pneumonia! ---
