I’m looking through [Rotten Tomatoes’ top 75 horror movies](http://www.rottentomatoes.com/guides/best_horror_movies_2012_update/), and pinging back and forth between Netflix and Amazon Prime to see what they have. I’m also putting some good ones I know are available, that may not be on RT’s list. I didn’t look up everything on the list, and of course there are lots of good horror movies that aren’t on the Rotten Tomatoes top 75, so add your own too! (Many may be available on both services - I didn’t check) These are all available on Netflix Watch Instantly: Dracula The Mummy Session 9 Troll Hunter Tucker and Dale vs. Evil The House on Haunted Hill Nosferatu Piranha The Wolf Man Theater of Blood Let the Right One In The Invisible Man Slither Snow White: A Tale of Terror Bubba Ho-Tep Night of the Comet Creepshow Hellraiser House Fido An American Werewolf in London The Relic Call of Cthulhu Mimic Parents The Host And on Amazon Prime Instant Video: Re-animator The Wicker Man (1973) Evil Dead 2 Don’t Look Now Children of the Corn Teeth Poltergeist The Haunting The Descent Ginger Snaps They both also seem to have Troll 2 and and Netflix has Birdemic, two of the most famous so-bad-it’s-good horror movies. ---

> [@BrotherCadfael](#): > > Are Netflix and Amazon Prime free? I seriously doubt it… Well, no, I guess. But we already belong to both, to satisfy the urgent need for a constant stream of kid shows and to ease the shipping pain of being hermits who prefer to shop for everything on the internet, so for us it’s no additional charge. Sorry, that $0.00! next to the videos seduced me. Still, if you’re already paying to keep a pipeline of Dora the Explorer to your house, it’s a good deal. 😃
