# Great Movies w/ Toxic Couples?

I think I tried to watch _Ariel_ and did not last very long. Haven’t seen the other one. I do recall watching one where Pellonpaa and some other people were in jail, but don’t recall the title. It’s possible it was a Mika Kaurismaki film, not an Aki one.

I generally loathe the films of De Sica, Visconti and Cassavetes. Not a fan of Bergman, Bresson or Capra. Haven’t seen any films by Loach. I did see _Naked_ and found it well-written, if unpleasant. Huston certainly made some interesting and iconic films, but also a number of bad and/or overrated ones.

All of which proves…we have very different tastes.
