Great museum experiences (non-collection related)

Last time I ate there was 10+ years ago, and yes, the food was excellent. I was there 2 weekends ago and was quite disappointed; I didn’t eat there because the food selection is much more limited, less than half of what it used to be

I was walking in the MOMA and on the top floor, tuck in the corner and so easy to miss was a painting that looked a lot … no wait!! It IS The Persistence of Memory. Because it was so out of the way, finding it was an accident and for a split second it felt like I was the only person to have seen it.

Visited the Horniman Museum in London for the first time yesterday. Great. Weird. Great.

Anyway, unrelated to any collection, as you step out of the museum building and into its gardens, there is the most spectacular view of the central London skyline. Wow.
