I remember, in the early 1980s, there was a notably weird relief pitcher (I want to say it was Greg Minton) who got bored one day, and shaved off one side of his mustache, and the other side of his beard. Cannot find a picture of this, however. 😃 ---

Those are not [Fu Manchu](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fu_Manchu_moustache)’s, but [Horseshoes](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horseshoe_moustache). A Fu Manchu grows only from the upper lip, and then just hangs down. 🙂 ---

Definitely a moar-er mullet! 😃 What made me notices Marky G’s mullet was the sticking out from under the helmet. I’m sure others did it before him, but his was the first one I noticed on a consistent basis, high profile player and all. Anyone got examples of this from earlier? I’m pretty sure Tom Landry made some sort of statement about it while he was coaching, but I can’t find it. Plain ol’ long hair will look the same from out under the helmet, sure, but I seem to remember it was about the mullet-headedness of someone. ---
