Theme to _ **The Dick van Dyke Show** _, with lyrics written by Morey Amsterdam: I never heard of an \*\*\*Andy Griffith Show\*\*\* theme not sung by Andy, but here's one that is: Here's the outro for \*\*\*Gomer Pyle, USMC\*\*\*. Like the themes of \*\*\*F Troop\*\*\* and \*\*\*Hogan's Heroes\*\*\* (which I've heard played at Veterans' Day parades), it really is a snappy military march; the bridge in the middle is my favorite part. From 1962 to 1966, Tuesday night was for watching \*\*\*Combat!\*\*\* and \*\*\*McHale's Navy\*\*\* on KMSP (Channel 9).
