Nor did the link I provide go to any scene from the movie. I provided a linked to the TELEVISION SERIES opening credits. I don’t know what song from the movie you are talking about (I have never seen the movie), but I am talking about [this bit](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdNhPUXf6Lc), which was an original composition for the TV series and not a song by anyone. ---

Sorry, I don’t understand why we’re not connecting here. I know the theme from the TV show; I’ve known it for the last 54 years. The TV theme **has always had** lyrics; they were just never used in the show. A single of the song WITH LYRICS was released in the 1960s; I remember hearing it not long after the show debuted. I have never seen the movie (nor do I want to), but judging from the post on YouTube, the same theme WITH LYRICS is on the movie’s soundtrack. In that post, the singer is Steve Lawrence. Whether Steve recorded the version I heard when I was nine or ten years old, I can’t say. So the one in the movie might be a remastered recording, or it might not. I don’t know. (Steve Lawrence is still alive, BTW.) If you’re referring simply to the TV theme WITHOUT lyrics (and there were several such versions of it during the run of the show), that’s another matter.
