I just watched Looper and really liked it. It’s put me in the mood for some more good time travel movies. I did a search here for a suggestion list. The last thread I could find was from 2003 but my search-fu is terrible so I might have missed one. Anyway, bring on your suggestions and if you are so motivated, a few words why you recommend it. ---

_La jetée_ - The inspiration for _12 Monkeys_. Very cool French short film. _Safety Not Guaranteed_ - Quirky independent movie with Aubrey Plaza. Charming. _Sound of My Voice_ - Independent movie written by and starring Brit Marling about journalists who infiltrate a cult and find more than they bargained for. Unique and interesting. ---

_Devil’s Pass_ - Surprisingly good horror movie about students who retrace the steps of those who perished in the Dyatlov Pass incident. Not really a time travel movie, but it references time travel in an interesting way. _Source Code_ - Action/adventure with Jake Gyllenhaal. Pretty decent major movie with a _Groundhog Day_ - esque form of time travel. _Groundhog Day_ - You’ve probably seen this movie again and again, but, hey, it’s a time travel movie, and is well worth recommending. Got mixed reviews, but I liked it too. It wasn’t just a simple romance by two people from different times - the time travel was something that deeply affected their relationship and was integral to it, including foreknowledge, visits to/from older/younger versions of each other, and so on. Well done, IMHO. ---
