Ok while we are on this subject - Game of Thrones. There is a humongous Wall of ice in the north beyond which is plenty more ice, glaciers, and lots of mountains. Plus the occasional wood of fir trees. Its a very cold place and its not even Winter yet. But somehow hordes and clans of people merrily slog through the snow getting their three square meals without a temperate green pleasant valley in any direction. Plus there are pigs and deer but no grass anywhere to graze on. Is there any sensible explanation? ---

I think deer eat bark. Not sure what rabbits do. Or maybe they eat seals like the Eskimos… ---
