Bing is good, but so is Burl Ives and I Transiberian Orchestra and George Winston (although I’m not sure that December is technically a Christmas album.) ---

_The Little Drummer Boy_ (original title: _Sing We Now of Christmas_) by the Harry Simeone Chorale. This is a sentimental favorite from my youth (it came out around 1963). Kind of progressive for the time, and I think it’s held up very well overall. Honorable mentions: _Noel_ by Joan Baez. _Ella Wishes You a Swinging Christmas_ by Ella Fitzgerald. _The Andy Williams Christmas Album_ – brings back memories of those holiday TV specials. _Messiah_ by G.F. Handel. ---
