As I said before, I take nothing away from Jose and Dolly’s good works. I just don’t see them as GLAs, given the many others in the running from the outset. ---

I continue to find the persistence of **Dolly Parton** bizarre, and am voting for her again. She’s a popular singer who seems like a nice person and has funded a lot of worthy causes. In other words, she’s Taylor Swift or Bruce Springsteen, but on a smaller scale. If we broaden it to entertainers in general, that also describes Magic Johnson and Stephen King. Why has she hung around while all these people have been voted off?! “Jolene” is a good song, but it isn’t “Born to Run”, _The Stand_, or game 7 of the 1980 Finals. Also, unlike Johnson, King, Swift or Springsteen, Dolly has never explicitly advised her fans to not vote for Donald Trump. As I said about Dylan, that alone should absolutely disqualify her from GLA consideration. ---
