Greatest living American elimination game (game thread)

Stephen King. I doubt he’d even win a poll as greatest American living writer.

I think even her worst enemies would concede that (indefinite article aside).

As far as I’m concerned, we could save a couple of weeks and just boot everyone else off the list now. But I suppose it will be interesting to see what order they are eliminated in.

Dare you suggest she has enemies??

Everyone has enemies.

Stephen King

Sanders

With much of Buffett’s philanthropy going through the Gates Foundation, it would be churlish to keep Buffett while striking Gates, so I’m voting out Buffett first. Wizard of Omaha, but not my heart.

Steven King

Springsteen

Bernie “OK, time to give up on Bill Gates” Sanders

(phen)

He’s given me uncounted hours of pleasure over the years, but I think it’s time for Stephen King to go.

We’ve just about reached the point where we’re going to end up with a multiple tie for the winner, so our only hope is that we all gang up to vote off one person in each round. I’ll vote King this time, and then let the smoke-filled room dealing and personal vendettas begin!

Stephen King

The bell seems to be tolling, as befits perserverence.

Stephen King

As far as I was concerned, he should have gone out of print a week or so ago.

I’m back to Bob Dylan. Poet of a generation? So effin’ what?
