**The Dick van Dyke Show**. Wonderful cast and writers. Inelligent scripts, many of them “ahead of their time”, to use the tired phrase. Still stands up beautifully today. And it had so many settings – Work, Urban, Suburban Home, Rob’s Army Days, the Newlyweds… **MASH** comes in a very close second. Despite the flak it’s taken on this Board, and its preachiness (especially near the end), it was always compelling and worth watching. ---

Seinfeld was the funniest, especially the first few seasons. I’d have to agree with “The Simpsons” for longevity and consistency and pure humor. ---

Guess it depends on how you define it. **The Dick Van Dyke** show was best overall. **Soap** was, at its funniest, the funniest ever. **M_A_S\*H** stayed at the highest level for the longest time. **The Monkees** may have made the sharpest break from tradition. Hard to choose… ---

**The Addams Family** was delightfully quircky. **My World And Welcome To It** Animation and live actors. Cutting edge… **Married With Children** Al Bundy rules! And we watched a real hottie grow up to a bitchin fine woman, Cristina Applegate. **The Simpsons** longest running prime time animated sitcom. Evar. **Soap** as tho God Himself decided what a sitcom should be. ---
