Cheerful birthday greetings to Jezebel, who turns 29 today, and who was kind enough to respond to the psychic orgasm questionnaire circulated by my assistant Little Ed. Only I know which part was her contribution (you think I trust Ed to read these things?), and I’m not telling, so eat your hearts out, you drooling cretins. Also, my sincere thanks to the other 15 women who submitted questionnaires. I hesitate to name them all here, and so won’t, but suspect they wouldn’t object. A very impressive group. Far be it from me to correct **The Great One** in a thread he started but **Jezebel** was more public than some in her response to the original question. Having read the “research” thread and **Cecil’s** column you don’t actually need a weatherman to know which was the wind blows. But **Jezzie** was nice enough to agree with me in the “Pomp and Circumstance” thread so I’m not telling either. ---

Golly! Cecil posts in MIPSIMS three times in two days. How 'bout that. Perhaps he’ll start hanging out here more often. We can find out what Cecil’s favorite movie scenes are, and the really bad day he had at the office, hear his views of the TV shows of his childhood, see his haikus, and maybe have him show up at a doper get-together. Wouldn’t that be nifty? :rolleyes: Let’s just hope he doesn’t get into Great Debates. He’d be the ultimate thread killer. The usuals debaters would be going hammer and tongs about abortion or gun control or the nature of god, and all of a sudden Cecil would step in with _the answer_. What else would be there to say? All we would have is one clueless semi-troll, who doesn’t know who this Adams character is, launching into a multiply-fallacious attack while everyone else is staggering away from being hit by his thunderbolts of wisdom.
