Apparently, a man with a shotgun entered a [Unitarian Universalist Church](http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5jOAQKzY-aOBqDspFkEAV_ZO65vZAD92718CG0) in Tennessee and opened fire on the members there during a childrens play. Two were killed but fortunately no children were injured.

So often these days it is the cowards and the low-life that get their names in the media. I just felt it is appropriate to take a moment the recognize this mans courage and sacrifice in a time of emergency.
Mr. Greg McKendry will be in my thoughts for some time to come.

There is a special place in Heaven / Valhalla for people that do what Mr. McKendry did. I will raise a glass in his memory tonight.
I can only hope that if I am present when the shit hits the electric fan, that I would do half as well.

It was all over the news on TV Sunday night, that’s how I first learned of it.
I wish I was as courageous as Mr. McKendry was.
