Can anyone recommend a good online community, real life support network, or hotlines? I’m googling and I’m coming up a little bare. I’m in the Detroit area, if that helps. I will post the story behind why, sometime, but I’m really not up for it right now. ---

Perhaps I should have put “need answer fast” in the title. I’m not kidding or trying to be snarky. I’m looking for a resource I can recommend to my fiance, who is having a very rough time right now. The two “hotline” numbers I could find were either shut down or not what the source said it was. Is there anyone who’s been a member of such a group online who can vouch for a good community? ---

Look to see if there is a Gilda’s Club near you. I’ve heard great things about them, and it’s not churchy like most groups (in case that’s a concern). ---

Thanks Bob. Cancer support isn’t what I’m looking for, but there are links on their site to hospice programs that may have the support resources we need right now. That really helps.
