But, I was down to under 5 BBs. Not sure exactly when blinds were going up again but it would have been within a few minutes. I was going to have to make a move within the next few hands if I was going to have any shot at sticking around. If there’s action in front of me then maybe I play it differently, but holding an A and a decent kicker, the best hand I’ve seen in quite a while, folded around to me in late-middle position and short stacked, pushing in seems reasonable. I can _barely_ justify the guy calling with A9 (although I personally wouldn’t because A9 is my own personal DEATH HAND) but there is no justification for the K5 getting involved.
