I don’t think it would have been shut down if **grude** had taken a different tack with his OP - if he’d just did a standard complaint thread about being called a foul name, rather than the rambling one he did, people would actually have given him a hearing, I think. I mean, I find it interesting that that expression exists there. I also find the dynamics of grude’s maritial relationship interesting (in a trainwreck kind of way). But the way **grude** posted, it was never going to just be a commiseration/information thread. ---

I agree, **MrDibble**. Suspiciously trollish OP. Just like here, where he says he doesn’t like saying the N-word, but he certainly doesn’t mind typing it. I had to read the thread title in MPSIMS a couple of times to believe that it said what it did. That’s why I put a caveat in my post responding to the word “pickney”. ---

Why would you read threads and not contribute to your original idea, even if it is to recognize that your point of view might have changed? The US can not stop 100% of the rapes, however there has been no claim to stop ALL THE RAPES. That is a problem with a ‘free’ country, people are free to be asshats until they are caught for whatever asshattery they’ve done. Can you show cite a country that is 100% rape free? This is a BS argument that cherry picks the arguments you can win. Yep. A little googling did show other cites for the term ‘old nigger’ in Trinidad, so I don’t think he’s making it up. ---

So he hates being in a culture where is called the names he is called are names that is culturally acceptable? He hates attention…don’t draw attention. Trinidad is primarily Indian and African ([Demographics of Trinidad and Tobago - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Trinidad_and_Tobago)) How is this racist at all? Just because a term is racist in the US doesn’t mean it is the same worldwide. If you hate where you are…why don’t you leave? Or at least prepare to leave? Or are you a dum nigz? ---

Honestly I agree with some of the criticisms of me here, I admit I don’t understand thread etiquette. Sometimes a thread gets moved, like the P-zombie one. My question was answered early on, but now people are having an interesting discussion which I follow but I don’t really have anything to add. Other times I don’t know if I should thank people who provided really good answers in the thread. I have tried to practice better thread behaviour, I know I was pretty bad when I first joined. I do try to provide clarification or answer questions, except for extremely minor stuff. And I’m sorry for the super personal threads, I have decided not to bitch about my life or family etc anymore. I realize people don’t like it, I have been under a lot of stress and I guess I had no one to talk to so I was using the board. I don’t really put forth a mask or filter, but I should. And yea my latest thread was probably ill advised, I get why it was closed. ---

(MMP is an acronym for Monday Morning Post) People post any day of the week about the stuff that’s bugging them. Perhaps you could give that a try sometime.
