There’s a 10-minute video out there too, but it’s so choppy and lo-res that it’s hardly even worth watching. But it does show some of the cooler stuff like the water, nighttime, some of the physics and so on. [OH MY GOD THE SHOOTING IN THIS IS AMAZING](http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/207167.html) even if the video quality is doo-doo. ---

You’ll probably see more screenshots and gameplay footage that you can handle come later today, as a pirated PAL (European) version of GTA IV for the 360 was leaked and posted on the Internet last night. ---

Holy crap! The store I preordered GTA IV from broke street date and sold it to me this morning! Words simply cannot describe this game! It’s beyond amazing. One of the best parts is noticing all the little details. They really make the game. You’ll be sitting there playing and finding yourself saying things like “Damn! I’ve never seen someone walk down stairs quite so realistically in a video game!” Sometimes when you steal a car, the person will try quite tenaciously to steal it back from you. They’ll grab the door handle and just hold on as you drive away and you have to run the car up against something to shake them loose! When a cop is trying to arrest you and you’re standing in front of him with your hands up, you can just whip around and blow him away before he knows what hit him. That’s a very good thing because you lose your weapons if you get arrested. Unlike the other GTA games, you do not lose your weapons when you die. It looks so damn real that when I shoot someone I actually feel bad about what I’ve done for a second! I’ve never seen a game that was hyped this much and actually lived up to it. Of course I’m not very far yet, but if anyone has any questions, fire away. ---

They’re also characters from well known movies, not just walking stereotypes. ---

Nope. It’s a local place. Somebody screwed up pretty bad… to my advantage. 🙂 Actually, what happened was that I just called them up (knowing it was before the street date, of course), and asked if they had my game in stock. The worst they could do was tell me I had to wait until Tuesday, right? Well, I don’t know if I got a new employee, a clueless employee, or some combination of both, but they told me to come on over and pick it up!
