# Guantanamo is STILL open. Why isn't the left bitching about it?

If OP is referring to _politicians_ on the left, they aren’t discussing the price of gas as much as they did in 2008-2009 either. But that’s politicians for you, left or right. They bring out their dog and pony show every four years then roll up the carpets in between.

What I was saying (to anyone actually) was that it does have a little something to do with Obama being a Democrat.
