# Guardians of Justice (Netflix superhero limited series)

Has anyone else watched the Netflix show “Guardians of Justice”? I had never heard of it, but I stumbled across it a few days ago while looking at the Wikipedia page for Will Yun Lee.

It’s a dark, gritty superhero story clearly inspired by “Watchmen”, “Kingdom Come” and “The Dark Knight Returns” (among other things) but it’s combined with animation, arcade game-style sequences, newsreel footage and who knows what else. I’m not sure how to describe it, but if you’re into dark, trippy superhero stories, you might like it.

Giving this thread one bump before sinking into oblivion.

If you’re interested in “deconstructed” superhero stories, I would recommend this series (7 half-hour episodes). Also, I liked the cast which included unrecognizable (to me) cameos from Jane Seymour and Brigitte Nielsen.

I had started watching but forgot about it after a few episodes, maybe I should pick it up again. IIRC I liked it but felt you had to be in the proper mood to appreciate it.
