I agree Vin Diesel was good. I don’t know anything about his nerd cred and I’ve never seen _The Iron Giant_, so I’ll grant “appropriately cast”. I’m just saying in this movie he doesn’t deliver anything that’s got to be delivered by Vin Diesel. There’s a love that develops _among the group_ as they transition from loners to a quirky family. Gamora who happens to like nice men develops feelings for Star-Lord _as she comes to admire him_ having at first thought he was a scoundrel. The early sexual tension and the later developed admiration, when thrown in the mix with the family love among the group, suggests that there may be some basis for a romance to develop in the future, maybe.
