# Guardians Of The Galaxy, what is the background?

Maybe there’s a character on Agents of Shield who is pink skin Kree, and we haven’t met him/her yet?

I’m curious what the explanation is for the blue skin Kree we did see on that show. He didn’t look very human, though he did have blue skin.

I thought originally, in the comics, Kree were mostly blue skinned and the pink skins were sort of an oppressed minority.

Kree of _Hala_ are mostly blue-skinned. The “White Kree” have been hybridized with yet more HumanAliens, and lost the blue pigment along the way. Part of the Kree empire, but seen as subject races and half-breeds. Blue Kree are the “original” phenotype and higher status, but the White Kree are more numerous across the empire.
