# Guess Harry Potter's Last Line

As I am sure all us ueber-Potter geeks now, the last word of the Potter series is going to be “scar”.
Anyone else want to guess what the rest of the sentence will be?
My try is this -

Well, since he’s a pilot (of a broom, anyway) the traditional last line would occur just after his broom suffers an in-flight catastauphic failure: ‘Oh, shit.’

Drunk this morning, as he had been for so many since the incident at Hogwart’s, Harry felt the ten-days-too-old blade catch on his jawline and thought, “Fuck me that’s sure to leave a scar.”

Given that the chapter was originally written in 1999 and been rewritten because of unexpected deaths and survivals, there’s a good chance the final word has changed. That being said, my guess is something like:
“Good morning class, welcome to Defense against the Dark Arts,” said Harry, as he rubbed his hand on his throbbing forehead and realized he could no longer feel his scar.

RRRRRRIIIINNNNGGGG!!! Harry’s alarm clock shattered the silence of his bedroom. It had all been a dream. Rather disappointedly, Harry got up and headed downstairs for breakfast. Ah well, he thought, the last year of school starts today, and after that I’ll be rid of my horrid Aunt and Uncle forever.
As Harry began pouring milk over his Uncle Vernon’s cornflakes, he noticed his Uncle glowering at him even more so than usual. “What have I done now?” he asked.
“Nothing, boy, but Potter…where did you get that scar?”

Harry let his lips linger against Ron’s for a heartbeat, and when they finally did disengage, the faintest streamer of saliva stretched out briefly between their mouths before breaking. After what seemed an eternity, Ron said, “Well, that’s that,” and climbed out of hi scar.
