I can’t make a guess unless I know the answer to the following questions. Did you enjoy the movie “Terms of Endearment”? What about “First Blood”? In the winter olympics, do you like the ice skating competition or the giant slalom? Do you know what a “charger” is? Do you believe that Brad Pitt is gay? Does the name Peyton Manning mean anything to you? What about Erica Kane? Do you know how many cylinders your car’s engine has? If you are rewiring your house will you be using 220? Or 221? (Or, whatever it takes?) With the answers to the foregoing I am prepared to offer an opinion as to your gender, with a confidence level of at least 50%! ---

because of how you spoke ( at times too wordy – one word too many) i believe you fit the description of a female, who like many others of the same sex, are overly excessive at times. Am i right guys?.. \ haha ---

We have had a discussion or two, **TVAA** , and you have always come off to me as decidedly male. That said, I have absolutely _no_ empirical evidence on which to base that belief. Call it a hunch. ---

Actually, I always assumed TVAA was female. In all seriousness I think that comes less from writing style than from the screen name, though. ---

Well, I have inside information. Of course, that requires an act of memory, but I am fairly confident of this memory act so I shall refrain from posting what I think I know. However, before I knew I did wonder, and I remember feeling confirmed in the matter when I found out, so that also adds some confidence to my memory. Hmm, can you use memory to demonstrate a reliable memory in the first person case…? ---

Hmm… I used to believe I can guess a person’s gender, but I don’t think that anymore. I’ve had too many run-ins with crazy men AND women online to be able to tell a difference. For example, I’ve had college boys stalk me online and spam my message board with childish comments and I’ve had childish women go thru the trouble of looking up my phone number online so they can call me and harass me. What I do know though, is that I can tell a sneaky bastard when I run into one–no matter how nice they’re pretending to be. THAT I’ve gotten good at! ---

I don’t think it’s possible to determine the sex of people on a MB. Heck, it can be somewhat hard to determine it in RL. I’ll guess male. ---

I’ve always thought of you as male. And I don’t think of research as “cheating”, it’s a legitimate tool. As **dylan\_73** pointed out, if anyone actually cared one way or the other, they could confirm or deny their suspicions with about 0.5 seconds worth of research. ---
