Second look at the article reveals that it was a Toyota SUV. Model not named, so likely one of 4Runner, Highlander, RAV4, Sequoia. ---

I don’t know what it means, but more importantly, I don’t care. Neither should the author of that article, or the idiot “reader” who took offense, or anyone else. I deeply regret having to share a planet with people who feel compelled to report vanity license plates they don’t like. On the bright side, I found my answer for that “lowest form of human discourse” thread. ---

Is every string of letters containing an R and a P supposed to represent “Rape” now? I don’t know how anyone could get “rape” out of that license plate, unless they were trying really hard to be offended and it was the only thing in their field of view. If anything, I’d assume it was supposed to be a emoticon of a long sheep or dachshund or something. Or maybe “rate-ate-ate-ate-ate-p” is someone’s version of “rat-tat-tat-tat”. I don’t know, but I could think of a hundred more likely interpretations than “this guy is a really big fan of rape”. ---
