This is a spin off from the Guess the Book thread. You have to guess the song by its lyrics. Its a game. Whoever gets the next one right, gets to give a song lyric, and it continues on and on and on… K? Ready? I didn’t earn it, but Major Tom is from Scary Monsters, one of the best albums ever imho, so I’ll continue… “we got four more years of the same ol’ jive, and you must be wonderin’ how we’re gonna stay alive, well take a tip from one who knows, and I will point the way to go. Excuse me. Yes you did. The quote I provided was actually the rap from the 12" single which wasn’t included on the album (BAD) or the subsequent CD release. The disco single was released at the beginning of Reagan’s second term back when music seemed to matter. I didn’t think anyone would get _Hotel California_. Not like they play that song more than twice an hour.
