I was incredibly wealthy. Through no fault of my own, I lost everything and ended up mooching off a hooker. I regained my wealth (and more) through an incredible feat of revenge. Who am I? ---

I have a medical degree. I have perfect recall. I’ve been a mentally impaired youth. I was a civil-war veteran. I was a high-school basketball player. I was a pregnant woman. I just want to go home. On preview, I see I was beaten to that one. My father didn’t speak to me for years because he objected to my choice to join the military instead of staying home and studying science. But my travels in the service have brought me true friends and eventually led me into my father’s line of work. ---
