IDK, I think the prez had it right the first time but the optics of the situation being what they are, I suppose he has to at least pretend to play nice. He ought to plead sick and have Michelle take over. Half an hour, they’d be discussing the exact wording of the President for Life Amendment. ---

It’s an end-run on the Republican congressional leadership, who have provided neither leadership nor solutions. He included people like Graham and McCain because they are media whores who will leak everything that’s said at the dinner. It will be interesting to see the reaction to this from the wacko right and from Boehner, et al. ---
