Sometimes I see someone’s status listed as “Guest”. How does a person get to be a guest?

“Guests” are attached to posts dating from prior to the software changeover (UBB to vB). I _believe_, all posts made on the old UBB system have “Guest” attached to them. I won’t swear this is 100% true, though. Suffice it to say, that no one has now, nor ever in the past, been able to post with a “Guest” status. This is a feature that is controlled by the administration. We’ve chosen to not allow “Guests” to post, only folks with a “Registered” status; other message boards may do things differently and allow people with “Guest” status to post.
