Hm. Would the suspension be immediate? Could $10 reverse the suspension? Could $15 double reverse the suspension? Maybe suspensions could be limited to 24 hours, at which point you gain 48 suspension-free hours, starting from your next post.
I support this proposal. I trust that the denizens of this board would agree that it is a fair system.

$5 to reverse the suspension. And even when you’re suspended, you could still suspend someone–your suspender, if you so desire. Oh, that’d be fun!

Some Bubbas you just can’t reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way Ed wants it…well, he gets it. I don’t like it any more than you members.
If the join date isn’t enough, the post count is only 2 clicks away. The same distance porn should be.
Then paid members should see everyone’s stats, and guests should see nothing. That is the only way that policy makes sense. To deny paying members information about guests punishes the paying member.

1> Click on their user name.
2> Click on View Profile.
3> Look at mini-statistics on right.
4> Hit the back button to go back to the thread.
5> Fall to the ground exhausted by how much work that was. Spend the rest of the day in bed recovering.

Sometimes it’s amusing to sit back, dissolve your ego and observe social behavior. Everyone was so eager to join in, grab the pitchforks and chase down the monster.
Nonsense. There is no wait. You can view as many user profiles as you want in succession just by clicking the username in their post. There is no two-minute wait in between.
Oh oh. BubbaDog, that wasn’t really a serious shot at you personally. I should have noted that my post be read in the voice of the Prison Guard watching over the work crew, from Cool Hand Luke: “What we’ve got here is…failure to communicate”…etc.
The only points that I was making there were:
- If you’d noted the newbie’s join date, you probably wouldn’t have nibbled at them.
- Good luck getting a change made to the board.
- Pepsi is better than Coke.

In the spreadsheets that I’ve made of all the posters here, you have a rating of 3 out of 5, and the only comment is ‘Pleasant MMPer’. Was a surprise to hear you were chewing up newbies in the pit. cochrane I must have been in Bizzaro SDMB this last week cuz I could have sworn I was limited on multiple viewings of membership names. Maybe it happened when I clicked “show all posts” or something. Given my recent track record on accurate statements concerning the operation of this board I’m just going to throw myself to the mercy of the teeming millions.

I gotta restate it. Having a post count visible for all posters, not just subscribers, would be a real help.

Whew! For a second there I was worried that you wanted ME to pay for all those subscriptions.
If I did that I’d have only 25 or so Million dollars left in my bank account. It would really damage my Christmas plans.
