“Chicken Soup for the Soul” books–sometimes ya just gotta cry.
Oreo cookies buried, whole, in chocolate ice cream, then eaten, as if soaked in chocolate milk, after the ice cream is gone.
Spending time doing just the fun stuff with kids, then turning them over to their parents when they get cranky.
A polar fleece pullover, so cuddly.

Kid’s meals from Mc Donald’s or Burger King.

Guilty pleasures?
Hmm… Eating the dough while making peanut butter cookies. Staying up until the house is silent and the moon has gone to bed. Reading an entire book and taking all night to do it. Playing outside with my son long after dinner time has passed and I know I ought to be inside setting a good example for responsibility _L_. Taking naps in the middle of the day when the sun is shining in the window on my face and everyone in the house is gone and there’s dishes to be done or some other equally important chore. Eating dessert before dinner. Eating dessert instead of dinner.
Ohp… think the rest aren’t guilty pleasures. Those will have to do. 🙂

Eris, you’re a dairy-person after my own heart! If I could buy half-n-half in gallon containers and not have my cholesterol go through the roof I’d do it!
Guilty pleasures:
Coffee with my sister-in-law (rant and rave about the in-laws and husbands!!)
Laying in the beautiful, hot, Lake Michigan sand after you get out of the lake all cold
Weepy chick movies watched when my husband isn’t home to say “what are you crying about”
Singing very loud to my Diana Krall CD when no one is around (I’d be alone pretty quickly if I started singing with people in the room!)
Letting the cats come in under the covers to snuggle - a warm fur blanket!!
Driving around, feeling cool, with the radio blasting and the windows down on a sunny day
A whistle or second glance from a guy when I’m out exercising or just walking down the street (ok! the secret’s out! We like it!)
A huge shopping trip to the outlet mall with my mom, aunt and sister.
There ya be!

Staying up all night to finish a book, knowing I’ll be useless at work the next day!
Chocolate ice cream with chocolate fudge chunks, and chocolate sauce!!!
Ditching work to stay at home in bed all day making love with my girlfriend
“chick-flicks”-that I have to go see alone!
Taking my niece and nephews out to play, spoiling them, and returning them to my sisters when they get cranky!
