It was reported that she died from complications due to a seizure disorder. I don’t think we should link to her Obituary here without the family’s permission. We know she suffered from seizures pretty badly. ---

The family’s reception was on Friday and the funeral was yesterday (the 18th) morning. The family lived in the north suburbs of Pittsburgh, which is where the cemetery is. I found out too late to even consider attending. I don’t know anything about family connections to the church, etc. Donations were suggested to a local food pantry, but I was considering making a donation in her memory to the National Epilepsy Foundation. ---

While I remember her from way back, I don’t recall having a lot of interactions with her, except. . . On the pronunciation of her name. I always read it as “Guy-nuh-stay-zha,” but that’s wrong, and it had five syllables: “Gwin-uh-stay-zee-uh.” ---

Yep, but I’d have to dig it up. You have the right way, except it’s ‘stay’ instead of ‘stah.’ (I rendered it incorrectly, too. It’s an ‘s’ sound in the fourth syllable, not a ‘z’.) ---
