Somebody check my math. I figure that if I post once every ten minutes, 24 hours a day seven days a week, with no breaks for bathroom, food, friends, sleep, or anything else, just posting once every ten minutes, it would take me just over six months of constant posting to rack up 26000 posts. That can’t be right, can it? Just a math issue Guin, I am in no position to judge how others spend their time. ---

About 180 days at 144 posts per day (six an hour every hour). Marginally _under_ six calendar months. ---

Yes, I’m sorry I wasn’t clear. I knew that specific comment was directed at CarnalK, however, this was amidst the “consider the source” comments that were directed at me. You can question CarnalK’s motives, but I essentially said the same thing, and I can assure you I didn’t say it to provide fodder for any off-board discussion. You do not use the internet as a crutch? You don’t have to tell me, but have you developed RL friends, found a RL outlet for romantic interests, gotten a job worthy of your education, and do you spend more time doing something productive in RL than you do on the internet? Maybe just think about your answers before you make that assertion. I’d give my left nut to be 20-something again. I hate to think you are burning these years in your parents basement/attic/barn/whatnot. ---

(bolding mine) I don’t know if you were referring to me by that or not, but I’m gonna answer anyway. Who in the hell are you to decide that someone is using the internet as a crutch? Perhaps I should repeat what I said before…I don’t enjoy much social interaction, I never have. When I want it I get it, otherwise I spend a lot of time at home on the computer, reading or whatever. Just because someone is online a lot DOES NOT mean they have a problem. Perhaps Guin does have other issues (I haven’t read threads about it) and if you feel the need to give advice based on what she has said about herself, fine. But that doesn’t give you any right to dismiss others that spend a lot of time online as using a crutch. Hmm, I did say hell once but that just doesn’t seem pitty enough. Maybe I should add a bite me you cum guzzling gutter snipe. Or perhaps, go fuck yourself sideways with a rusty pitchfork. Nah, I’m just too nice for all that. 😃 ---

Mine are for fleece blankets. I can understand how the adds would change based on our location and of course I know why someone would get adds for blankets based on some of the later posts. Why, I wonder, would someone in Southern California get a fleece blanket ad? ---

I’m not much of a social butterfly-I prefer just getting together at a nice, quiet place and talking. And I’ve ALWAYS been something of a loner-reading, drawing, sewing, doing my own thing. Less people around to annoy the shit out of me, asking me questions and telling me what to do. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have housework to do. (Yeah, I do housework too!) ---
