There are posters here who have racked up hundreds of posts in fast-moving game threads that require maybe 10 seconds of thought per post. The infamous “a” thread, for example. The time spent reading the thread really becomes an issue only when you arrive late to a multi-page discussion. And some of us are just damn fast readers. ---

But 3 hours a day sounds right on average. How much TV do you watch per day combined with internet browsing/surfing. I think for a lot of people it is the same 3 hours. I probably spend three hours online a day but rarely post (relatively.) Posts per day is a poor indicator of how you spend your time, IMHO. ---
