A great book to learn how to do what a tech does is ‘How to Make Your Electric Guitar Play Great’ by Dan Erlewine. It’s worth the price just to learn how to communicate with a tech.

Chefguy: if it’s bugging you, try raising the action (the height of the string vs the fingerboard) on that high-E string a little. See here. Don’t be afraid you’ll break something; just count how many turns you raise the saddle or bridge so you can put it back the way it was if you don’t like the result or think you’re making it worse.

(I thought your electric was a “Tele”, not a “Strat” ?)
