Sounds like you need to get yourself a twangy Tele type of Tele!

I am on the other end of the spectrum - I have my Tele sounding like a gorgeous, saturated 50’s Gibson right now; very weird settings, but the tone is amazing. Man, the Plank can do anything if you approach it correctly, can’t it?

Absolutely. It continually amazes me just how RIGHT Leo Fender got the solid body electric, on his first try, right out of the gate.
