My apologies if there is or has recently been a thread like this, I’ve run it through the search engine, but can’t find it. OK, pardners, git ready fur the biggest durned gunfight y’ever did see.{/cowboy accent} This is a game. First, post in the thread to sign up, then, later (probably Monday or Tuesday night) I will close down the entries and have everyone send me their info. Basically, it works like this (yes, I got it from [Greylabyrinth.com](http://Greylabyrinth.com)): You will all sign up, then when I post and close down the entries, you will each send me: Your shooting skill: In percentage (20%-80%). Your defense value: In percentage (20%-80%). The above percentages MUST add to 100% and NEITHER may be above 80%. These will not be revealed to anyone. **These percentages do not change for the entire game!** So choose wisely. The way it works is, your defense value represents the percentage of times you would live against someone who shoots 50%. [\ - \ + 50 = chance of survival] **note:** chance of survival will never drop below 1% or above 99%. For each round, you will then send me your target out of the people who have signed up. I will then work out who dies and who goes on to the next round. The targets will not be revealed, except for who killed whom. We will continue until we have one hombre standing. Good luck. ---

Cash Tag, Garfield doesn’t tell you your skill level, you tell him (but after he closes the entries, not now). As to how that works, it’s [shooting skill] + [defense value] = 100% (with neither SS or DV \> 80%). ---

Can I just stand off to the side and use my Super Soaker 279GTNKJB? I’m not very good at shooting things, since I’m not a violent person to begin with. Or maybe I’ll just be the luscious wench/barmaid and watch in the doorway with a vibrant green revealing dress, a plume in my hair, holding a frilly hanky in my hand and, with trembling lips, yelling, “OH! Don’t you boys hert yerselves!” and frantically growing faint and fanning myself. Yeeeeah… ---

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t this an elaborate, multi-player form of rock, paper, scissors? Sorry, my gun games are with real guns and live ammo, though only at inanimate targets. \*_Fairy Princess Kitty_ - a company did make pastel guns but you can’t get them anymore. ---

OK, I’m closing off the entries. In addition to those, I have, signed up:[ul] [li]Cash Tag (?)[/li][li]Bubba Ray[/li][li]TopazAntares[/li][li]Crunchy Frog[/li][li]Black Knight[/li][li]John Corrado[/li][/ul]Those of you who haven’t sent me your percentages will have a temporary defense percentage randomly selected for you until I get some info. You will not shoot until you send me your info. If I don’t have your info by the end of round two, you will be eliminated. You should send me your info along with your round one target ASAP. OK, now, to clear up some things that may not have been clearly explained. You only shoot at the person you select and name in your email to me. They DO NOT shoot back at you UNLESS they also select your name. It is one big free-for-all (I should charge admission. . .is that illegal? Charging admission to a free-for-all?). The last poster standing wins. Good luck. You MUST send me your targets by tomorrow evening as I will post the results tomorrow night, and begin round two then as well.
