Well, I immediately recognized the line as it’s used in both versions–as the intro–but I couldn’t remember what song followed. Listened to them both, and though I actually know “Pretty Fly…” better (bizarrely), the line feels older to me, like something I heard in college when I was into classic rock. For me, college was about a decade too early for my original exposure to have been from the Offspring. I almost certainly heard it first via “Rock of Ages.” I’d say it’s a toss-up since really, neither song came to mind. Oh, and I’m 49, FWIW. (Well… for 11 more days, anyway.) ---
