Why do guys like women that wear lingerie if all they can think about it ripping it off? LOL! Yes, boyfriend and I had this conversation late this morning. He said to me “So, when are we going to buy me some lingerie? You can wear it, and I can rip it off?” He then went on to talk about leopard prints and some other stuff that I’m not going to repeat on here. So guys, what is the point? My curious mind would like to know. ---

To answer the OP, the point is not to admire the lingerie itself. The lingerie is supposed increase desire for the person wearing it. ---

Well if _she_ goes out and buys it and shows up in it, then it is like gift wrapping. It is nice to think that she put it on thinking that it is going to be ‘ripped off’. ---

Why would I want to rip it off? I like the way women look in it. Besides, the lingerie I like would not have to be removed to have fun… ---

It’s possible for good lingerie to enhance the visual effect of what the lady already has to offer (_e.g.,_ pushup bras for the less-endowed, thongs to enhance a shapely… well, everything, actually, etc.). It’s not like there’s some sort of magical trigger involved where, if you leave your lacy undergarments flung across the back of the sofa, your boyfriend’s going to fly into a passion… it’s only when he sees them on you. It’s also possible for blue jeans and a t-shirt to do the same. The especially neat thing is that you can use _both_. Just make sure to put the lingerie on first. ---

Same reason I find a guy in a white silk dress shirt with sleeves slightly rolled up, blue jeans with the knees and other areas a bit worn, and engineer boots with a good body of the big [6 foot or taller] and heavy [mesomorph] frame but _not_ bodybuilder muscles hot All about the packaging…and the unwrapping=) 😛 ---

Mrs. Sub doesn’t really like wearing lingerie as part of her regular clothing, so when she does wear it, it’s because she’s specifically doing it to turn me on. As a result, the fact that she’s wearing it turns me on just as much as, if not more than, how she actually looks in whatever she’s wearing. ---

It’s because lingerie is basicaly an invitation to sex. Nothing says, “Come Ravage me” like something lacy and insubstantial. Granny shorts and a beige standard bra says, “I am so NOT in the mood, go look at porn or something.” It’s the implied sexuality that turns us on. ---

I think that for a few of us (those fellows of a certain age), women wore undergarments that were varied and somewhat fasinating. A pair of hose that were being held up by garters/garterbelt, and slips and so forth were part of our early experiences. In fact, we may have spent a lot of time in the stages where undergarments were left on and “third base or homerun” was still something in the future. So lingerie had and continues to have a certain sexiness to it. It is very feminine, often complimentary, and fun to figure out! Anticipation…hot stuff! ---

Just to turn this about a bit: 1. Brad Pit in a monks habit? 2. Brad Pit in blue jeans and suspenders (only)? - Feel free to switch out the indicated personage with your personal flavor of meat. Maybe I’m wrong, but it was my belief that girls can be turned on by scantily clad hunks in much the same fashion as guys can be turned on by scantily clad babes. ---
