**Hot Infiltrator Chick:** Hi, could I just duck in there for a minute?
\*\*Minion: \*\*Sorry, lady, that is a restricted area.
\*\*Hot Infiltrator Chick: \*\*Oh, that’s all right then. Truth is, I asked just because I’ve always been kind of turned on by a man in uniform, you know what I mean? (Licks lips, gives him a No. 17 Blowjob Imminent look.)
\*\*Minion \*\*(subvocalizing to Command and Control): Some idiot bimbo is trying to honeypot her way into Zone B. Want me to detain her?
**Command and Control** (via earbud): That’s negatory, minion. Let her have her way with you. We’ll track her to see what she’s after and have a nice surprise for her when she finds it. Enjoy yourself!
**Minion** (subvocalizing): But she may give me a painful conking over the head afterwards!
**Command and Control:** If she does, we’ll make it up to you with a visiit to the Evil Overlord’s harem tonight.
\*\*\*\*Minion \*\*\*\*(subvocalizing): Roger that!
**Minion:** (to Infiltrator Chick) Sure, baby, I understand. What say we step over here into the shadows?

The best version of this ever was Dawn French in an episode of _Murder Most Horrid_. The relevant scene starts [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4k04j6OKUMk&t=2m4s), but if you have the time it’s worth watching from the beginning (part 1 starts [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BK5OS9_Tgko)).

Thanks for sharing, that scene was cracking me right the hell up.

> I’m not bothered when this trope plays out in comedies, but when I see this played out in dramas or action adventure shows, I thinks it’s a wee bit ridiculous.

So it’s less sexist and/or ridiculous in a comedy? :dubious:

To me it’s a wee bit outrageous and contrived–and an insult to the viewer’s intelligence.

Yes, a lot of humor is tongue in cheek. As in, not to be taken seriously.

In a drama, we’re supposed to believe the events unfolding on screen have some semblance to reality.

For me, chivalry will never be dead as long as cleavage and miniskirts exist.

I think, in this specific case, the proper term would be _quim pro quo_ (or would that become \*quod \*? I can’t Latin any more).

The episode was “Phoenix Rising”, first broadcast on August 19, 2014 at 9:00 EDT. It will be rebroadcast on August 26, 2014 at 8:00 EDT. The incident in question was probably about two-thirds of the way through the episode, but you didn’t actually see her vamp the guy; that took place offscreen. You do get a scene of Maura critiquing Jane’s hot librarian outfit (her first attempt came off as “flight attendant”).

My favorite reversal of this trope is in “The Eiger Sanction.” Clint Eastwood is a professor, and a hot young bimbo is telling him “Professor, I’ll do ANYTHING to pass this class.” Along with the requisite smiles and batting of eyelashes.

Clint says, “Anything?”

“Yes, ANYTHING.”

“Good. Study.”

IIRC, though, didn’t he still (very stupidly) allow himself to get seduced by her after the end of the semester, enabling her to set him up for a false rape charge? Or am I thinking of a different movie?

Of course, as \*\*\*The Incredible Hulk \*\*\*showed, you don’t have to be a hot chick to get past a big, muscular security guard- just offer him a free pizza!

There was a _ **Supernatural** _ episode a few years back where cute redhead Charlie Bradbury had to get past a security guard. She had a radio receiver in her ear, and Dean told her to flirt with him. She acted grossed out and said, “But he’s not my type.” Dean thought the problem ws that the guard wasn’t young or good-looking, but no… the problem was that the guard was a GUY!
