I danced topless for about 4 years back in the day and while I can imagine this happening in the sleazier clubs, or in states with more lax laws, it didn’t happen (at least not regularly) at the clubs I worked at. We weren’t allowed to have physical contact while doing table dances (they were not called lap dances). ---

I don’t know about the prevalence or otherwise of it happening. I have been to a strip club twice, and did get a (kind of) private lapdance in my living room once (that’s a whole 'nother story of balls out glory)… BUT I couldn’t think of anything worse than walking home with sticky, gooey cold pants…personally I would much rather get some self love than go through such discomfort… ---

Why would the management of these places encourage “happy endings”? It is bad for business-the satisfied client is less likely to keep spending money. ---

Do y’all hang out in my living room or something? I was just asking the Other Shoe about this last night. Being a girl, I wouldn’t know, but I always thought lap dances seemed … frustrating. To get riiiiiight there but not actually come? Fuck that noise. I asked him about it, and he just shrugged. Strip clubs never have been his thing. I guess maybe if they are your thing, it’s not so frustrating. ---
