First off, I haven’t read or remember many posts like the following of a sexual nature in quite a while here on the Dope. So, mods, if this is inappropriate please delete it and accept my apologies. I am a guy and I have found that if I smoke a cigarette while in the process of beginning to masturbate, I get this incredibly intense sensation in my penis. Almost as if I am about to ejaculate even though I never do. I find that sexual things that would normally only be of cursory interest become incredibly exciting. It is probably the case that it is not the subject matter, but simply a reaction taking place in my body due to the nicotine, so for instance, I could be turned on by a jar of spaghetti sauce. 🙂 My simple question to you all is have you ever experienced the same feeling? And if so, assuming that you all are smokers, when did you discover this, and how? ---

Ok, I should clear the air. I went a bit overboard in the OP, or perhaps didn’t make myself clear. I would never be turned on by a sauce, for instance (and do I feel ridiculous having to say that). That was just a silly example to get my point across, and that is that a good drag on a cigarette greatly enhances the initial feelings of an erection. And on a lighter note, I’m reminded of a question I asked a past girlfriend before we ever had sex. I asked her, “Do you smoke after sex?” Her reply: “I don’t know, I never looked.” ---

In Thailand, smoking IS a sexual act. It’s slang for “blowjob.” ---

Certainly smoking weed has an effect but tobacco is definitely an ‘afterwards’ event. Have you tried any other nicotine product? Does that have the same effect? ---

I like to smoke while I’m masturbating. The nicotine enhances the pleasure, especially if I haven’t had a smoke in a while and have a craving. The orgasm is a lot more intense. I have to be careful though, I’ve had the cherry drop on my dick a few times. I haven’t done this with other nicotine products, but I don’t think it would be the same. Smoking delivers the nicotine quicker and gives me a rush. I really can’t remember how I discovered this. When I was a teenager I used to smoke in the bathroom because it had a fan in there. I also used to whack off in there. Put two and two together I guess. ---

I too don’t remember how I discovered it, but I had been smoking for years and years before I did so. Now it’s the only time I smoke. ---

It lead me down a path of self destruction. I discovered it after I had been drinking, I wasn’t even a smoker but quickly got hooked. As my nicotine addiction increased my masturbation frequency increased proportionally. With the ease of access to porn I was stuck on a dark perverted path. I obsessed with sex. I constantly lusted after women even though I was married. I added more things to increase the rush - alcohol, thc, prescription drugs, illicit drugs, whatever I could add to the mix. It all got worse and worse. Like every addiction, my cravings for nicotine increased and I was masturbating whenever and wherever i could (especially wherever I could get away with smoking. I remember once counting having masturbated 11 times one day. It went on for years. I finally had enough of the pain and suffering, especially of those around me. I finally broke free from the alcoholism. After a few years not drinking I started taking the medication Chantix (thank God for Chantix), and finally was able to quit smoking and jerking off. I was 7 years sober and 2 years smoke free when I was out of town for work when an idea popped-up somewhere in my head and I had a cigarette and a quick jerk session. BAM! Within a few months I was sneaking cigarettes and finding places to light up and stroke. I could see it going down that path again so I got back on Chantix before it got further out of hand. That’s where I am with it today, here to try to warn others of the slippery slope on which you are sliding. Please beware! ---
