I’d consider it if there was some way to camouflage or change the color. Which I guess is a “no”, actually. It’s due more to pink just happening to be my least favorite color, than with the fact that I’m male. ---

It’s not just a light pink, it’s a bright, dark (odd putting those two descriptors next to each other) pink. I’m female, and I’d have to think twice about it. But I loved my last Sony VAIO and that’s a pretty nice price for a laptop. I guess if I really couldn’t find the same thing in another color, and it really fit my needs at a good price, I’d do it. But it certainly would give me pause. . . especially that bright of a pink. As an aside, I got a really ugly pink MP3 player because I thought it was a bargain price at the time. When I first got it, I fretted because I thought the color would deter me from using it. I don’t take it anywhere but it’s my favorite MP3 player. It’s dependable and works like I want. I don’t notice the color anymore. ---

I seem to see pink being a bit more acceptable for men today, overall… which is cool, since pastel pink is one of the few pastels I can wear that makes me look good. I know a number of guys who use pink personal electronics of all types, wear pink clothes, Chucks, etc. I doubt a pink laptop would turn heads at a college. ---

Just bought a pink camera today. Would have preferred black or silver, but it looks fine. Wouldn’t mind having a pink laptop, either. Though I would be hesitant before buying a pink car, but only because it would really stand out. ---

Guy, and I answered _no problem_– but then I clicked on the link. Despite being marketed as “pink”, that thing is magenta and silver, and it is not a pretty machine. So, cool pink: nice. Slightly hot pink: okay. Silver and magenta in equal amounts: no thank you. It’s an aesthetics thing, not a masculinity thing or a professionalism thing. ---

Penn, of Penn & Teller, had his laptop painted pink long before any manufactured them in that color. He had it painted by a guy who normally paints motorcycles. I seem to recall that he advised choosing a painter who normally works for customers who would potentially beat somebody to death if they fuck up the thing being painted. ---

Im a man, and yes, I would consider buying a pink laptop (except I hate laptops, prefer desktop: much faster). However, the actual color pink is one of my favorites, and no, I’m far from gay, just a man that knows what he can get from strolling around with the proper amount of pink 😉 . Ladies love pink, even if they don’t want to admit it, and guys also love pink, even if most will never admit it. I’ll give you a hint, both like it for the same reason, it’s the color of…:eek:…🆒 ---
