Were there people on this MB who were claiming Obama was personally involved? More than one or two nuts? Even that many? Is it impossible for this to be a “scandal” unless president Blackenstein was personally involved. (Credit to Bill Maher for that expression.) ---

It’s one of those ‘absence of evidence is not evidence of absence’ things. If you make an accusation, it’s on you to come up with the evidence. They did. It was shitty. In this case, the congressman called out members of his own party for their lack of non-shitty evidence. Maybe he’s wrong. If so, it’s on the accusers to come up with some evidence that isn’t shitty. ---

It’s unclear that he is claiming, int hat post, that Obama directed or was even aware of what was going on wrt the IRS and Tea Party groups. There were several threads actually about this particular issue, so go dig there and find a quote from “tight-righties” on this MB about Obama using the IRS to go after his enemies. This open ended pitting is directed more at thin air than anything else I can see, as far as this MB goes. Despite this being a fairly liberal board, there are still plenty of conservative posters. How many, exactly, were claiming Obama involvement in this? ---
