# hacking? remote comp. access?

Theoretically speaking, what exactly does one do when they are hacking? What would be involved to hack into, (I’m not kidding when i say theoretically!), something like [mlb.com](http://mlb.com) where they have the option of paying for video/audio feed of games or game highlights? What would have to be done to access this without paying for it? How would you hack into, for example, a college’s website? HOW DO YOU HACK?!
Also, how does one remotely access someone else’s computer? This is what brought about the idea for this subject, my cousin somehow (with my mom’s help) took over our computer from his house and fixed it. But how did he gain the remote access?!

No one is going to answer your first question except perhaps in the very broadest of terms. I won’t touch it.
But I will answer your second question. Windows XP (and also Win 2k, I believe) have remote access, which requires permission from the user to engage. You cannot gain access without the user’s permission, though. Except through means which, again, I will not discuss.
