[/QUOTE] The one time I’ve done it, it was much less centralized, (there wasn’t even a moderator who wasn’t playing,) and no public record. Trades might be made in public or private, based mostly on convenience. It was at a camping long weekend sort of a thing, so the packages were given out and the basic rules explained as soon as everyone had gotten on-site, and the submissions and scoring were done on the last evening. Haggling sort of broke out whenever you least expected it - during nature hikes or sunbathing on the rivershore, while dinner was being prepared or eaten, and other times like that. There was a lot of partnership stuff going on - couples or good friends pooling their knowledge and making trades towards contributing one kickass portfolio. And the distinctions of partnership were interesting… whether everyone else knew that A and B were working together, whether C also thought that she was working with B and got upset when B gave her the cold shoulder at the very end. ---

A friendly correction **Mad** : you can only show rules for which you hold the rule slips, so you can’t show anyone rules 10 or 20, since I didn’t trade you the rule slips themselves, but just showed them to you. ---

[/QUOTE] Rule 18 is fairly mundane. Rule 6 on the other hand is ELECTRIC. Doctor Who Offer #10\*: nesta - I will show you rule #6 in exchange for a letter card of your choosing. Doctor Who Offer #11: nesta - for TWO letter cards of your choosing, I will GIVE you rule #6. (Which you can then easily swap over to Hal, who’s (rightfully) interested in it.) - skipped to 10 for clarity. Also all previous outstanding offers REVOKED. ---

[/QUOTE] Rule 6 does sound tempting, but I haven’t yet decided what to do with my letter cards yet, so I’m hesitent to give them up quite yet. I’ll think about it, but cards for seeing rules seems a bad deal this early.
